Hi all,

I recently became a British citizen.
My wife has held ILR for a year now and has lived in the UK for 6 years.
Our two children have also lived in the UK for 6 years and have held ILR for 1 year.

I’m looking to apply for British citizenship for all of them. A few questions:
  • - Can my wife apply in the same application as the kids, or does she need a separate application (like form AN)?

    - For the kids, do I use form MN1, and can I include both children in one application or do I need to submit separate ones?
No - wife fills in the AN form and at the end adds the kids. The form adjusts to MN1 format.
    - It’s hard to find a teacher or professional referee for the kids. Are there any accepted alternatives for referees?
It's a commen issue and UKVI are aware of this. You can use the professional referee you used, if he know the kids.
    - Is our application type affected by the new home office changes?
Nothing has changed so far - the proposals would have to be enacted in parliament first. Proceed as normal.
Any help or recent experience would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
