Hi,

I have received an invitation to citizenship ceremony from the council on the 23rd of May but nothing has come from the Home Office! is this common? shall I need to take actions?

Cheers

Very common.
Book your ceremony, you have been approved and the council has your certificate. UKVI email will follow. There’s always a delay.

Hi,

Please, is it still OK to not receiving the Home Office email after 11 days from receiving the ceremony invitation from the council?

I am asked to bring the following:
    your Home Office invitation letter
photographic ID (for example a passport, driving licence or biometric residence permit)
this confirmation email (i.e., council email)

Should I do something as I need the Home Office invitation letter?

        Cheers

Ask your council you don't have it yet and if it is ok to attend anyway.
