Hi All ,
After we submitted biometric on 22nd Feb , I received a simple enquiry on naturalisation application on 23 April ( it was about middle name not being mentioned on my passport but present on my marriage certificate).
I responded on 24 April but have not received any further update on the application since then. it's been over 4 weeks now. Does anyone know typically how long they take to make a decision after such enquiry ?
I did call them once and they gave a standard response of it may take up to 6 months but we can see from the timeline only thread that decisions are being made in 2 months time.

No one here can tell you otherwise, the HO standard is 6 months. If it comes earlier great, it could also come much later (1 year +).
Every person and their journey to citizenship are unique.

oh ok, I understand. In that case, I have a follow up question.
I need to book travel tickets for August 2025. Can I proceed to book and travel using Indian Passport ?
If decision comes , lets say in July'25 , then ideally I should not be travelling on Indian passport in August ?

You can travel. You are not British until you attend the ceremony, so you can use your Indian passport until then.
