Hello everyone,

Could you advise to the best of your knowledge on the below queries, please?
A bit of background, we are a family of 4. Myself and my wife have lived in the UK since 2014 and we have settled status since 2019.
I have submitted an application for myself and my daughter and I am in the process of uploading all the necessary documents on the TLS portal. Our appointment is for Thursday the 10th of April. My wife is also applying but through a separate application. We probably should have applied all together but we realized too late.
There's nothing wrong with your wife applying separately. For naturalisation everyone can apply individually or in groups as they wish.
As I'm still reading through the forum and trying to make sure we have done everything correctly, I came across some information which made me doubt if we have filled in the application correctly.

1. We all have Settled status. In the application there is a question "Was your indefinitely leave toenter or remain granted under the EU settlement scheme?" on which we have answered yes.
But further down there is another question "Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in theUK or abroad?" for which we have answered as "No". We read that as in any previous applications for naturalisation since the settled status was covered by a different section. Not sure if this is right or wrong since we have settled status which is covered by the question above.
Is that wrong and if it is wrong, what should we do about it?
Naturalisation isn't an immigration application - your immigration application was "EU Settled Status".
You can explain the oversight in a separate note and load with your other documents.
2. We have another daughter which was born last year in March and she automatically received a UK passport already. On the question "Do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time?" I have answered "Yes". Do you know if I have to provide any further information about her in my application about her? To upload her passport or have a cover letter of any sort?
I don't know what is asked after the "yes" answer. However, daughter is a British citizen and has no role in your applications. AFAIK, there is no documentation to be provided for your daughter, as I said application has nothing to do with her. She had an easy ride .
3. As many others, we were unable to provide referee as professional who has engaged with my daugther in a professional capacity. As suggested in other threads, I have added a cover letter to explain the situation and have given as alternative the 2 referees which both my wife and I have used. Both of them have British passports and one of them is Chartered Accountant so they should be suitable. I have also highlighted that both of them know her from birth since she was born in the UK but prior to us getting the settled status.
Unfortunately, I do not have any evidence in terms of emails or letters of the refusal of my daughter's teacher and GP to provide the required information as referees since with both was verbal communication.
Would the cover letter by itself be sufficient as explanation along side the alternative referees?
Just explain in your covering note the issue - UKVI are well aware of this issue and your approach is correct and works.
4. Do we need to scan all pages of our passports? We never needed Visas to enter nor stay in the UK and our passports are blank. Also do we need to upload any old passports because we clearly don't have them in our possession but we might be able to find old copies of the first page. NO old passports required unless there's more than one covering a residency period. I would scan all pages, incl. blank. Sometimes they ask for a full scan later, so you may as well cover all bases.

5. If there are any problems with any of the information provided by us, would the Home Office be in touch to try and clarify or they would straigh go and reject the application?
Applicants are generally only refused if they clearly don't satisfy the statutory requirements, as laid down in law. However if something's not clear or they need more information they will contact applicant - watch your mail box(es)!
I'm might be overthinking it but considering the amount it costs I'm trying to minimize the risk. Any help, advise or opinion would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I do appreciate that people are worried about every small detail, and of course the costs involved.

I submitted my citizenship application and attended the biometrics appointment in April. I received an email today requesting further evidence. The text in the email is below:

As part of my application I provided the following documents as evidence of continuous residence:

• Council tax bills from 2018 till 2025

• Mortgage statements from 2018 till 2025

• P60 for tax year 2018-2019 and tax years 2021-2025 - unfortunately, I don't have and couldn't get P60 for tax years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021

• Due to the above, I have attached Income Tax History between 2018 and 2025

• Signed letter of employment from my current employer

I can partially understand why they are requesting evidence for 2020 even though I have provided council tax bill and mortage statement in my name but I'm baffled as to why they need an evidence for 2025 since I have provided 4 separate documents for the same(P60, Letter of Employment, Council tax bill and Mortgage statement).

What other documents should I send them? Has anyone else been in similar situation? Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Mortgage statements are not accepted, not is tax history (unless you are self employed). Can you send 2024-2025 P60, if your company has generated it already? Do you have payslips from 2020, or if you are a visa national, do you have stamped passports to cover that period?

What is your nationality, did you provide them your passports from the last 5 years and a list of absences?

I already provided the P60 for 2024-2025 as it was first week of April when submitted the documents.
I might be able to find some payslips for 2020 but most probably not all.
I reached out to the company that I worked for but they said they can't provide previous P60s but they can provide letter of employment.
I'm Bulgarian-EU national and don't have any stamps.
