Let me preface by saying I had a feeling I will forget something. Anyway, that feeling is true and after submitting everything, I realised I need to submit a cover letter. I have booked my biometrics appointment in few days, but I cant upload the documents any more via TLSContact.

I have cancelled the appoitnment and booked it again, but it still did not allow me to upload any more documents. Is there a chance to add the cover letter during the biometrics appointment (and is it chargable?) or am I doomed?

Also, if it is possible to add this extra document, will I have to upload everything from the start again at the appointment? Is the staff able to see what is already uploaded? I am so confused how it all works...

Why do you need to submit a cover letter? For what reason??

I have submitted a document from HMRC which had an incorrect personal detail as proof of living in the UK, but only realised that later. I need to mention that I will contact HMRC to update their records.

Why did you submit HMRC docs to prove you lived in the UK? Do you not have a stamped passport to prove you lived in the UK?

on the form it asked to submit evidence of that, but I was not entirely sure if passport is enough. In anycase, it has already been submitted and i have my biometrics in few days. Not sure what to do..

Did you submit your passport with stamps? If so that is the only evidence you need.

I understand that, but do you know if I can submit addiitonal documents before the appointment?

can you purchase the document scanning service? in that case you can write a cover letter and upload it at the appointment.
