Hi

My child and I gain ilr last year via 5 years route. I am a single parent alone in the uk with my child.

Upon applying for ilr, I demonstrated and prove sole responsibility for my child. The father is in a different country. (note: The father name is still on birth certificate).

As evidence, I use letters from school, clubs, payments, and bank statements and receipts, etc

Question: To apply for British citizenship, would I need to prove sole responsibility again by re-submitting up to date documents from the school, clubs, etc?

Or should i only provide my consent letter and explain that I submitted and demonstrated sole responsibility when applying for ilr last year?

Thank you for your reeponse

The requirement is to provide parents' consent.
If one parent is not present/able to give consent then that should be explained.
Referring to what you submitted for ILR should be helpful.

Thank you.

So no need to re-submit those documents to prove sole responsibility.

Thanks

Yes, best to submit those with your explanation.
