Child citizenship with single mother- both with ilr

Hi
My child and I gain ilr last year via 5 years route. I am a single parent alone in the uk with my child.
Upon applying for ilr, I demonstrated and prove sole responsibility for my child. The father is in a different country. (note: The father name is still on birth certificate).
As evidence, I use letters from school, clubs, payments, and bank statements and receipts, etc
Question: To apply for British citizenship, would I need to prove sole responsibility again by re-submitting up to date documents from the school, clubs, etc?
Or should i only provide my consent letter and explain that I submitted and demonstrated sole responsibility when applying for ilr last year?
Thank you for your reeponse

The requirement is to provide parents' consent.
If one parent is not present/able to give consent then that should be explained.
Referring to what you submitted for ILR should be helpful.

Thank you.
So no need to re-submit those documents to prove sole responsibility.
Thanks

Yes, best to submit those with your explanation.

"Have you made any previous UK immigration
applications in the UK or abroad?"
I have responded "No" to this question above by misunderstanding the question. Does this harm my application for Naturalisation? I have already submitted and done biometrics. I have done Tier 2 and ILR application before this application.
How can I correct the mistake?

It does not affect your statutory requirements. You can simply send an email to UKVI to explain the mistake.

Thank you very much for responding.
Application date: September 23, 2025
Biometric date: September 27, 2025
I noticed the mistake on Dec. 5 after a friend asked me what was my response to that question.
I sent email to
FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk and Citizenship support on Dec. 5 and Dec. 9 to explain and include my previous uk applications dates.
I am worried that it might affect my Good Character standing as I answered "No" when I should have said "yes".
I am still awaiting a response from the email and also a decision on my application.

Absolutely it will not have an effect on your good character. Your application is still well under 6 months so no reason to worry about a delay.

Thank you for your response. I will certainly update this post with the outcome of my application. I hope the moderators do not lock this communication.
Thanks again

Hi
Citizenship Support responded to my email today stating that my application has been approved and I should wait for an invite to book my ceremony with the council.
Thank you very much for your responses.

Congratulations. Now you only need to secure a British passport.

This is the content of the email below. I guess I should be waiting for another email from home office with the INVITE? Or should I go ahead and book contact the council to book the ceremony?
Email was from Citizenship Support
" Good morning,
I can confirm your application has now been approved.
Your certificates are due to be printed and dispatched from our office within the next couple of days.
When you receive your invite, please arrange a ceremony with your local authority.
Kind regards"

It is worth getting in touch with your council. They will be aware you have been approved and they may already let you book the ceremony. You may need to wait another week or so to get the official approval email with the ceremony invite. If you don't, let the council know and arrange it with them.
