Hello All,
I am preparing the citizenship application and have a query on employment.
I have two jobs- One as a employee for a company and another as a director, but i dont draw any salary from this role.
How should I add these in the application? In the employment details section, If I select An Employee and A director where it says "select all that apply", the details can be added for Employer or Business only but not for both.
Can I just add my employer details ?
Regards,
rx

Choose all that apply, explain your employee role, and explain further in a cover letter.
British Naturalizaton-Application Queries

Hi All,
I have submitted the application but have few queries and wondering if I should cancel and resubmit the application.
1) Referee Name: For one of the referees, I know the name as Miss A C and filled the application with those details and submitted. When she filled and signed the referee form, She has written the name as Miss A B C.
The second part of the given name is on the referee form but not the application.
2) Spouse Name: The name is incorrect in the Degree certificate but correct in Passport and NARIC letter. An annexure was submitted while applying for passport in India so that the name is correct and thats how the NARIC letter also has the correct name. Should I cancel the application and add the incorrect name as the other name?
Appreciate the help and replies.
Rgds,
RH

1) That should not be an issue. The same happened to me and my application proceeded.
2) This question is confusing, is this related to your spouses' citizenship application? The full name on the application must match the information on the passport of the applicant.

Thanks for the repsone. I can try this.

yes..this is for the citizenship application. I am just worried about the name on the degree certificate. The name on NARIC and the degree certificate is different.. two additional charecters in surname and a space and additional charecter
Thanks for the response.

I don't think that would be an issue either. The Home Office will normally use an official document such as a passport to confirm the name.
On a side note, I would suggest to correct the name on the degree certificate to avoid any future headaches.

Explain the discrepancy in names on your degree certificate in a cover letter. I agree that getting a certificate in the correct name would be best for the future, in case you ever need it.
Application Cancellation Process

Hi All,
There were issues with my spouse name in the submitted application so I cancelled the application and submitted a new one.
I have used "
https://www.cancel-application-and-retu ... v.uk/start" to cancel the application and received a record number as RODxxxxxx.
The application still shows as active when logged in.
I am just not sure what the correct process is. I am in no rush for the refund.
Can someone advise?
Regards,
rH

That's the correct procedure to cancel an application.
The status on the account online may take some time to be updated, that's not an issue.
