Hi,
I have received my ILR today on basis of 10 year in the UK. My 2 UK borns are now eligible to register as British citizen. Only one parent has ILR.

1. Which part of MN1 should I complete?
2. Does professional referee have to be British citizen or not?
3. Can their GP be a professional referee? Their health advisor is not available for now.
4. Does kids current non-british passport still valid after they register themselves as British citizen until they apply Uk passport? For the sake of travelling only.

Thank you.
Yes both children are born in the UK.
I have to fill only section 1(3) or any other section too?

Question:
Is this form send by post or online? How is fees paid if the form is send online?

Thank you again.

Fill in section 1(3) and any general information that is requested (unless marked optional).
It's an online submission and you pay by card online. Documents are scanned and uploaded (you can do this yourself).

You will select the option based on your circumstances and the form will automatically ask you the relevant questions. Section 1(3) is the portion of the law that applies to you, but you won't be able to select it outright from the form.

Everything is online in your circumstance. You will be prompted to pay once you submit the application form. After that you will need to book a biometric appointment for your children.

Is there any format for Refree Declaration that we have too attached with thebonline application?
I managed to get a format for parents consent but nothing for Refree declaration.

What to be attached to prove PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY ? Is UK birth certificate enough?

I will be also attaching my ILR settle status confirmation or evisa.

the form is part of the MN1 online application form, where you completed the information, then get the referees to each sign the form and return to you to upload.

The paper referee form link below if you missed it in the online form.

Yes, birth certificate is fine as long as both parents names are listed.
I will be also attaching my ILR settle status confirmation or evisa.
You should be as their entitlement to register as British is based on your ILR status after their birth. You must keep evidence of your ILR status for them for the future.

I have completed the online form. In the documents checklist, it is asking me to upload Referee declaration (I am not sure what is that? whereas I have already completed the two referee details in online form) Is there any standard format or document that I have to get it signed from the referee?

You should at some point in the process online get an option to download the referee forms you have completed online for you to add a photo of the applicant and get the referees to each sign their forms.
