Qualification of referees for naturalisation

Hello gurus
I am applying for naturalisation in the UK.
As referees, I have the following people:
1.25 yr + British Citizen work colleague with British passport.
2. Another work colleague who is at a Director position at the large American Bank where I work. He is a British citizen and in the past has also held the position of Director at limited companies in the UK (resigned in early 2000s). His name appears on Companies House.
Keen to know if the 2nd person meets the criteria of Professional. I am referring to this link for list of acceptable professionals - https://www.gov.uk/countersigning-passp ... ignatories
Any expert inputs would be much appreciated.
