How to prove residence without passport stamps/job

Hello guys, hope someone can help me!
So first I'm from a country that don't get the passport stamped as I use egates so I can't prove I was here with my passport.
Basically my issues is that I have a period between november 2020 and august 2021 where, for various reason including the whole covid mess, unfortunately I wasn't working, but I was in the uk.
I was staying at my girlfriend's house in that time, but I hadn't my name in the council taxes as I was only supposed to be there temporarly for a short time until my new job started, but then it ended up taking ages..

It seems that to prove residence they only accept documents related to work like employer letter or taxes. Is there any other way to prove residence ?
When I did the application for the EU settlement I was able to prove residence with bank statements showing I was spending money in the UK, but it's not clear if that would be accepted for the citizenship application.

At the worst I could wait till august 2026 at which point I could provide p60s and payslips for the previous 5 years, but considering current political climate around immigration I'd rather do this sooner than later...

EU passports weren't stamped as a rule, even before brexit.
Have you got any other council documentation, did you register to vote, NHS/GP correspondence, HMRC/DWP documents?
Anything else official?

You can apply for a SAR, requesting all the dates of entry/exit from the UK in the last 5 years. It is free. Once you obtain it, you can attach it to your application to prove you were living in the UK. https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... mmigration

Note these are sometimes incomplete, so you still need to declare all your trips.

I tried to look for documents covering those months but I only have a GP letter and DBS check before I started a new job both dated June 2021 and I can't think of anything else. :|

I requested a SAR, but if it only covers 5 years it wouldn't show when I came in since that was more than 5 years ago or can they see that I was here already at the beginning of those 5 years records?

Otherwise could the SAR + bank's statements be enough to cover those months before I started working?

All you need is to declare when you arrived, not to prove you were here - you only need to prove the 5 year qualifying period. Bank statements are not accepted for citizenship.
