Decision timeline after request for additional evidence

Hi everyone,

I applied on 13/07/2025, did biometrics on 17/07/2025 and on 21/10/2025 received an email from Atlas to confirm my city of birth. The email had: "Please note if this application is successful, the certificate of British Citizenship will show the following details ..."

I then replied to nationalityfurtherinformationrequests@homeoffice.gov.uk the next day, on the 22/10/2025 and since then it's silence for 2+ weeks. What's the usual timeline for getting a decision after evidence, which in my mind is very simple? Thank you!

There is no published time frame beyond the 6 months processing target that UKVI has set.
Though by the wording of the email one should hope it won't be long now.

There isn't a straightforward timeline that the HO follows after asking for extra information. You also don't know if that was the last thing they needed to know or if they need to get more enquiries done. In any case, you submitted your application only 3.5 months ago, so you are still below the 6 months processing time.

It's just weird they ask for a very simple clarification and then nothing for at least 3 weeks :|

It's not for us to know, alas.
