Both my wife and I are naturalised Brits now but live in Switzerland.
We recently discovered that my wife is pregnant.
The question is if she gives birth in Switzerland what nationality will the child have British??
Or do we need to return to the UK just for the birth?
Thank guys.

If born aboard, then child will be British "by descent" 2(1)(a).

Hi Vinny
Tahnk you for the speedy reply I also read your attachment and I'm not convinced that the child will be British by decent if born outside the UK.
As it does not seem to mention childern born of naturalised parents living outside the UK

Chapter 18: Naturalisation at discretion > Chapter 18:
18.2.6 Status acquired

18.2.6.1 A person who is granted a certificate of naturalisation as a British citizen under s.6(1) or s.6(2) is a British citizen "otherwise than by descent". (See Chapter 20)
Chapter 4: Automatic acquisition by birth
