british citizenship - one minor traffic offence

hello everyone..
i am about to make an application for a british citizenship after having ILF for 1 year.
I have got only one minor traffic offence (TS10 - breaking the traffic light) recorded in my licence. It was a 3 points fixed penelty plus £60 fine. I must tell you that IT WAS NOT CONVICTED IN THE COURT. I just paid money and surrender my lic. to DVLA for 3 point in counter part straight after having notice from metrolpolitan police that i was caught in the camera breaking the red traffic light.
Do i need to declare it in the form. or not....as the guidelines suggest that you do not need to put details of any minor traffic offece which has not gone to court.
would somebody suggest me what to do....or someone with similar to my case...would be very helpful...will one minor traffic offece which was not convicted in the courst affect the applicaiton..or not?
thanks...
