Might be a silly question but need confirmation

Dear all, my wife and I want to apply British Citizen after we had ILR for 3 years. Our baby is born in UK last month. As I know, the baby will be British Citizen by law(?). My question is: when we apply for the naturalisation, do we need apply for the baby at the same time? Or once we are naturalised, can we directly apply British passport for the baby?
