Dear forummembers,
(First i want to excuse my self for my bad English) ...

I'm 17years old now, next year 18 and i want to join the UK army, but i live in belgium now, i got the belgium papers, so here are my questions i hope you will help me !

1=Do i need to take the belgium nationality?(Will it make it easier to get the UK citizenship?)
2=How long will it take maximum to get the citizenship and join the uk army? (Whit the belgium nationality?) ...

Are you currently a citizen of a Commonwealth country (you never said what nationality you are)?

To gain British citizenship would mean living legally in the UK for at least 5 years (3 years if you marry a British citizen). I guess you could also move to another Commonwealth country and gain citizenship there but I guess that wouldn't be any easier.

Gaining Belgium citizenship will not help you gain British citizenship though it would help you moving to the UK.

I am actually russian ... The reason that i want to join the UK army is to join the british SAS... I'm trained since my 12years ...
My dad was a KGB agent,So its in my blood ...
Actualy i'm supossed to join the russian GRU... But they are overrated ,,, imposible to go out of russia in the future ...

And whit the SAS, i got still a life ... so thats why...
