Help filling in form MN1 section 2: residence 2.3

In Section 2 part 2.3 in the form it says:

Please give details of all absences from the United Kingdom and the British overseas territories during the period
of residence above

but in the guide this is contradicted in the guide as the guide for the MN1 form says:

Fill in this table showing the periods the child has been
abroad during the 3 years
residence in the UK or British overseas territory

as clearly stated above during the 3 years residence in the UK...

What does this mean?
Does the form want all the dates or only the ones in 3 years. As there is no time indication like "last 3 years" i am confused about what to write in this section.

ALL HELP MUCH APPRECIATED

All it is asking you for is the absences of the child from the UK within the past 3 years i.e. Holidays.

Trust me. My son's application was just approved today. If you are too worried, you could always list every single instance where your child has been out of the country and his/her current passport has been stamped.

just a quick question. under what category are you applying for your child. cause it might not actually matter

Please advise me as to what you filled up in Section 4.4 of form MN1. Did you have to give the tax office reference of your child's school?

i am applying under section 3(1) and the other 1(3)
does this matter? if so what difference does it make?

I think it is more of a requirement for those applying under 3(2), 1(4) and maybe some others. Have a look at the guidance notes it only refers to the absences when under section 3(2)

Please help me to fill the form MN1 under section 3(1)


My daughter got ILR on 2009 before that she visited UK 3times on visit visa (school holidays)
1.On from MN1 section 2.1 what date I have enter first arrival date (as a visitor first visit date or after getting ILR visited date)

2.Section 2.2 Qustion(please proved details of the other parents address in the uk at which the child has ever livred) -Please clarify

3.Section2.3 details of all absence(my daughter visited uk 3 times as visiter on school holidays 45days each visit she got ILR on may 2009 and she came to uk on the same month after that she din't gone out from the UK)
Please advise do i need to fill the visiting dates also on section 2.3
