Was the visa dependent on you not working? If so you in fact were committing a crime since you worked illegally or obtained a visa illegally...

If the visa was irrespective of you working, it might be less important - but this is just imho.

no its not that. To clarify - i was allowed to work and i worked within limits it is just that in some years i did not inform HO.
