Hi could anyone please tell is Earned citizenship rule applicable to the peoples who already in Tier 1 General (i.e. Work route) or is it only for the new applicants? Government going to put this in place from July 2011.

Please don't make multiple posts on the same topic.

We (all) will know who all will be affected (and how) as and when UKBA publishes any information on the matter. At the moment, anybody's guess is as good as yours!

As on date, this is the only news published by UKBA: Transitional arrangements for earned citizenship.
