British Passport Interview time length

I dont want to be taking too many holidays from work.
I already had to take holiday for Ceremony can someone tell me what's the time, place(Can I choose) for passport interview and how long it last?

You can book an appointment at the office that's nearest to you, I think appointments are available as early as 8.30 am, and interviews last 20 minutes if so long. In my case, I took an early appointment and went back to work about an hour later than normal.
