Six years isn't it? Five for ILR, one more year for Citizenship under current rules....

I am not sure about how many years , but if really Tier4 (master) and TierPostStudy(work permit after master) count , is it something new ?
In UK Home Office Border Agency web site , i digged every lines , it doesnt talk about any objection to years stayed as a master student.

I suspect your question is not clear and people have given you a wrong answer!
Did you meant that period of tier 4(masters) is counted toward ILR or towards citizenship?
Tier 4 doesnt count towards ILR but can count toward citizenship. Though from the fact that you need ILR to get citizenship, then tier 4 will never be needed toward citizenship!, i.e you would have already acrquired relevant time through empolyment that would give you ILR and then a year later citizenship

You are still using roadmaps? My humble advice would be to use Satnav to Citizenship.
