Hi everyone,

Here is the situation:

-Came to the UK 2001
-5 years visa granted Dec 2003- EEA1(married to EU National)
-PR granted Jan 2010 - After divorce

Now I am preparing to apply for citizenship and I have one Question :

Can I use the delays by the HO in processing my PR Application as a pretext to apply before the end of one year period since the PR has been stamped(in the strict sense).

Thank you.

"pretext" what do you mean as a pretext to apply? The answer to your question is in so many posts in this forum.
