HELLO

I was granted ILR after 12 years of my asylum case in the UK.

Its been a year since i was granted ILR and i was wondering if i can now apply for naturalisation? It says on my ILR that it was granted "Outside immigration rules" as i got it through Legacy.

I have heard of a few cases where naturalisation has been refused because ILR was granted outside immigration rules.

I have passed the Life In The Uk test and have documents to show continous residence in the Uk for the last 13 years as i havent left the Uk since 1997.

Kindly Advice
Thanks

I have moved this topic to a more appropriate area of this board.

This is actually quite a complicated area. Based upon what you have posted so far it is impossible for anyone to answer your question.

Please could you please detail your UK immigration history?
