Need clarification on if this affects my application for BC

I was born in Britain to African parents who were overstayers. I had to apply for ILR status which I now have.

I have an African passport which hasn't been stamped with my ILR status. My ILR status is on a separate sheet of paper which I have stapled onto this passport for ID purposes. (This is due to me not knowing that I needed a passport before receiving my ILR). Enough time will has passed for me to be able to apply for British citizenship.

My question is, Do i have to get my African passport stamped with my ILR status first before applying for the British Citizenship? I recall reading somewhere that this is the case but I'm not so sure.

Thank you.

No, proof of ILR is sufficient.

You are now an adult? If so, you have passed the Life in the UK Citizenship test?

Thanks for the reply.

I am an adult and have indeed passed the Life in the UK Test. All that remains is for me to earn enough to fund my application.
