british citizenship

I was born here in 1979 i went back to my parents country when i was 1 without collecting my British passport, when i came back 3 years ago i applied for the passport and was turn down,i have given them all i can lay my hands on and am still refused.I have 3 siblings who holds british passort.

I have looking to have a legal case with the home office to prove my identity,i dont have money for the costly lawyers,can anyone help me with advice on how to get a lawyer and how to take legal actions on home office.

were you over 18 when you returned?

yes i was over 18,i just returned 3 years ago and i am 32 now

The right thing to do is to apply for nationality status using form NS with as much documentation you can. I would think a UK birth certificate and documents confirming your identify should be enough.
