Hi All

I need some help. I was on work permit from sept 2004 to sept 2009.Got ILR in Sept 2009 so I can apply for British Nationality anytime after Sept 2010.My question is

My wife came to UK, as my dependent, in Jan 2008. Can we apply together in January 2011 ( She will be here from 3 years ,myself from 7+ years , last 12 months ILR for both ). I will not be British Citizen when we apply but if home office deals my application first , then as my spouse she only needs to be in here from 3 years. Will it work because That will save us about £ 850 .

Regards

P.S This forum has helped me a lot during my first work permit application, second work permit application, my wife's dependent visa , our ILR , my mother's visit visa and now finally i am at the last immigration step. British Nationality !

I am similar situation. My child was born in India on 08-Nov-2006 and arrived in UK on 16-Feb-2007. If I apply for Citizenship next month, can my child apply together.

Unfortunately Not. But it should be less than £850 how did you calculate? Did you add a separate NCS fee as well.
