Passport Questons

Post by oussama » Sat Aug 28, 2010 5:58 pm

In section 4, footnote, it reads: If both parents named above were born after 31 December 182 or were born abroad, we will also need the full name, town, country, date of birth and date of marriage of your GRANDFATHER[/b. Write these details in section 8, or on a separate sheet of paper.

My question is: I do not even have my father`s day and month of birth let alone all my grandfathers information.

What to do in this case? Ignore this inforamtion or write unknown in section 8.

Your help much appreciated.

Thank you

Did you naturalize? Do you have a naturalization certificate?
If so, I don't think those details are important

I called passport helpline and they said just include your naturalization certificate and write the the details are unknown in section 8 or include covering letter saying you do not have grand parents details.

You can double check by calling then if you wish.

I submitted my application on Saturday without this info.
