angel786, the OP has not got ILR, and never will have! You need to appreciate the difference between ILR and PR.

I think what you mean is that last month you got confirmation of your PR status. Yes? But in fact under the terms of the EU Directive you got PR status automatically on the 5th anniversary of starting to exercise Treaty Rights in the UK.

What happened in March 2005? You married your EEA spouse? And your EEA spouse has been exercising Treaty Rights in the UK since before the date of your marriage?

By the way, is your spouse now a British Citizen?

rani1874, do appreciate that you will need to pass the Life in the UK Citizenship test prior to applying for Naturalisation. Have you already passed that, or do you still have that "pleasure" to come?

rani1874, as long as you can provide proof that your wife has been exercising Treaty Rights since at least the date of your marriage in March 2005 ..... P60s would be great ..... I think you can apply for Naturalisation after the 6th anniversary of your wedding, from sometime in March 2011.

Just make sure you were physically in the UK exactly 5 years before UKBA receive the Naturalisation application.

I recommend that you don't send anything but instead apply at an NCS office, and both passports will be photocopied and handed straight back to you.

Your wife's P60s will prove that she was exercising Treaty Rights in the UK, and yours will prove that you were in the UK.

As said before you can apply after your 6th wedding anniversary. March 2005? I did not mention that month. I said you need to make sure you were physically in the UK exactly 5 years before UKBA receive the Naturalisation application.

Please re-read what I have already posted! Not sure what is not clear.

Does your wife have a passport? And are you referring to her ID card, issued by her Government?
