Dear All,

My status is as follows:

1.Arrived in the UK june 2004 on visit visa.
2. Got a Permit free training visa for doctors in Spet 2004.
3. Got HSMP visa 15th Nov 2005 for 1 year
4. Got extension for 4 years on HSMP
5. Got ILR stamped date on 04-11-2009 under HSMP judicial review.

I wanted to know when can i apply for Citizenship?
Can I apply after 4th of nov after I finish 1 year of ILR or should I wait untill 15th of Nov which is untill I finish 5 years on HSMP( ie. 4+ 1).

Basically I want to know if my 1 year of permit free training visa will be counted towards citizenship?

Thanks in advance.

1. Unless married to a British citizen, you may apply for naturalisation from 04-Nov-2010 onwards.
2. Time spent in UK under PFT and visit visa can be included in the qualifying residential period for naturalisation.
