applying for Britishh citizenship as EU student

hi
i am a slovakia nation who has been in the uk for 6 years now,i have always been a full-time student since first arrived..i have just obtained a comprehensive sickness insurance from AVIVA..but the lady from NCS told me that my comprehensive sickness insurance have to cover the last 6 years,which is impossible for me to do now,or i have to wait for another 6 six years and paying for the insurance as well..which sounds unreasonable to me..i have paid 45 pounds and at end got a refuse to send my application.anyone can give me some advice?much appreciated.

i do understand that i need CSI, my concern is does that have to cover the all the period of time that i was in the UK?as i have got csi,however,it only start a few days ago..thanks for your reply.

Yes, for the entire period that you have resided in the UK as a student (4(1)(d))

how would i be able to get the csi to cover the period before,it is too late now isnt it?means i have start doing now and wait for another 6 six years?

Insurance cover cannot be backdated.

so,thats what i meant?for me it is too late doing it now?this rule is very unreasonable to me,as i have not been informed that i would need CSI on the day arrived..
