British Citizenship after ILR

Hello everyone,
Id be grateful to anyone who could help me out.
I am a Pakistani national who got married in london in October 2007. At that time my husband was also a Pakistani national.
When i got married i was on a student visa, but got a spouse visa in 2009. I will be completing two years in July 2011, when if the rules donot change I will be applying for my ILR. I had first entered the UK in April 2007 which makes me complete 5 years in 2011.
But during this time my husband received his British Citizenship.
So my question is as I have been married to my husband for a period of three years by the time i get my ILR, will I be able to apply for British Citizen ship after getting my ILR as the law states that I can apply for it as long as im married to a British Citizen for 3 yrs even though my husband wasnot a British national when i got married but is one now.
Or do I have to wait for another year to pass for me to comlete my one year after receiving the ILR and then apply for my citizenship?
Thanking You,
