Hello members,

I got prepared for the citizenship application via NCS, appointement is tomorrow (1/12/2010). My application would be based on 5 years WP/Tier1 plus one year ILR. However, I just checked Home Office website and they have published a new version of application form AN on 22/11/2010. I have already filled the old version form, especially for two of my referees. I'm wondering whether I can still use the old form. The Home office website states one should use the new form when applying for the citizenship under Section 6 of nationality act 1981. What's the section 6?

The form and guidance have been split into two documents, however they are both dated Sept 2010, so the form itself should remain as it was before. I cannot see the old documents anymore but if the new one is not remarkably different you should be okay.

Check particularly the referee form page. If there is no much difference then you can try to use that page. It would be better to get other pages done again from the new form.

Yes, I have been to NCS this morning using most of new form except for two referees signature on the old form, since there is no difference on the two pages.
