BC and Self employment

Hi
My husband has ILR and has just changed jobs to become self employed. He has paid Tax and NI for this (2010-2011) tax year through his previous employer, but when he files his self asessment for 2010-2011 his earnings for self employment this tax year will be less than the expenses he has paid out therefore he will not pay tax on the self employment earnings. Will this affect his application for Citizenship next February?
Many thanks

NO...moreso that he had already paid TAX and NI...and there is room for loss in an accounting year anyway(though reporting too many losses yearly over consecutive periods may be suspicious to HMR&C)

But in this scenario absolutely NO problem for your husband applying for BC.
