ILR and spouse on Tier1 now applying for Citizenship

Hello All,
I got my ILR on 26th Feb(5 years WP). At that time my spouse was on Tier1(Will qualify for ILR on Sep 2011 on her own), so to get her ILR I had to either
a) Get her visa switched to my dependant and then after 2 qualifying years apply for ILR which would be on Feb 2012. As she would have got on her own before that she did not switch.
Now when I am applying for my citizenship, I'm applying for my kid vide section 3(1) using MN1.
Is there a way(or any other discretion) to apply for my wife? Or will she have to go through getting ILR first and then after an year get citizenship?
b) Or once I and my kid get citizenship can she apply? If so is 2 years the qualifying period?
thanks,
Barua

Wife requires ILR before being eligible for citizenship.

So can I get her visa status switched to my dependant(ILR dependant) and then in a month apply for citizenship together?
thanks,

No (wife).
Perhaps (child).
