Hi Guys,
I and my wife got ILR after completing 4years of HSMP(JR) in jan 2010. I am eligible for naturalisation from 10 feb 2011. My wife decided to remain as indian citizen with ILR.
My son was born in india in SEP2010. I applied for his settlement visa with British deputy high commission in India in the last week of Dec 2010 and it is still in process (BDHC in india now takes 50 working days to process!!). We are planning to go back to india after my natualisation & passport issued for next 3years.

We are planning to have our 2nd child in India in 2012. I gather from "registered under section 3(2)" that my 2nd child will be entitled to register as british citizen eventhou born outside UK. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If that is case with my future child, I would like to wait for my son to get his settlement visa in india and apply for naturalisation with him once he arrives in uk in April 2011. I am not sure whether this is best way of doing this?
Can someone guide me please?
What application should I fill in for my 6month old son?
How to get referees for him?
what are the chances?
Kindly guide me.
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
with regards,

Your child born outside UK after you naturalise as British citizen will be British under section 2(1)(a). You may apply for birth registration and British passport at the British High Commission in India.

You may apply for your 6-month-old-born-abroad child to be registered as British citizen under section 3(1) using MN1 form at the same time as you apply for naturalisation.
