Hi to All

I have been marrried for 3 and half years, my wife came to UK on a marriage visa in 2007, and got her ILR aftre two years, is true that she can apply for British Passport after 3 years

Naturalization requirements

Naturalization on the basis of marriage to a UK citizen or someone settled (with Indefinite Leave to Remain – ILR endorsement in their passport) – after 3 years

is the above correct?

that's correct, provided you, the husband, are a British citizen, and she meets all the other special requirements, especially the "time away" rules.

Hi. I came across this topic and I think you can help me with some information.

I came here in the UK on Sept 2005 with a working visa, got married to a British Citizen on Aug 2008. I changed my working visa to a spouse visa on Sept 2009. That visa will expire Sept of this year. Am I qualified to apply for a naturalisation considering that I am in Britain for 6 years this coming September or do I need to start counting the residential requirement of 3 years from the time I had my spouse visa?

Please help. Thank you.
