Wife's (Tier1 General-not dependent on husband) British Citizenship on Husband's Behalf?

Details:-

1.) I (Husband) will be getting my Citizenship next year 2012, and my wife who is on Tier1 General (but on Individual Tier1 - not Dependent on me) - will she be eligible to apply for her Citizenship as well on the behalf
of my citizenship next year 2012?

or

2.) If I convert my wife's Visa status from "Tier1 General" to "Tier1 Dependent" now ; would then she becomes eligible to apply for her Citizenship on the behalf of my citizenship next year 2012?

She doesn't qualify for naturalisation (citizenship) before being granted settlement (ILR).
