Hello,
I signed a NTL broadband contract in 2006 for 12m. B4 finishing the contract(abt 8m), I have to move to halifax. I called them up and finally I was made to sign a new contact for 12months again as this is non cable area.
After 9months, I had to move to wales and stayed in employers provided flat(paid) with no landline facility. So I called Virgin media customer care and the lady suggested to change account status to "Pay as you go House move" and avoid paying cancellation charges and can activate account if I have an idea of moving out into a flat with land line facility(This happened on 15/08/2008).I am staying in the employers flat from last 3 years and signed for 3network mobile broadband. I completely forgot abt this. I haven't got access to letters from my previous flat in halifax either.

I checked my virgin media account online for the first time after 3.5years.
it is still active...

on the home page of my account.
it is showing as......

Yes, it WILL, just pay the £4 and sleep safe... don't forget to cancel the service though and look out for other unknown debts which might haunt you.

just kidding, you're fine until you have been convicted in a court of something, declared bankrupt (for this the creditor must issue a statutory demand, pay the fee etc.) you're safe don't worry, but pay it anyway, I can give you 4 quid if you want.

You confirmed that you are in credit and there is nothing to pay. You can regularise your documentation though.
