I have a small question regarding referees for my Naturalisation application, according to the guide one person of any nationality should be professional , and other person should be British citizen either professional or over 25 years. I have a Pakistani national but non professional who can be my referee and a British national ( director of LTD company ). is that OK or the non British has to be professional.

Please excuse my silly question I am just confused. thanks

1. A person of any nationality who has professional standing.
2. A British citizen passport holder - professional person or over 25 years of age (either or both).

Yes.

For me I'm using:
A Non-British Professional as per the list provided by HO.
A British Person.

You can mix it all up as you like, but you'll need at least 1 british over 25yrs in age, and at least 1 professional person
