Hello experts,
I am about to apply for naturalization this month using the NCS. My passport with ILR is expiring in september 2011. In the worst scenario what would happen if I dont get the approval(+ 10 days for British Passport) before the expiry date. And does it matter if i have got less than 6 months validity on my current passport before applying ?

Thanks

Nothing will happen. What did you imagine will happen?

I thought if the passport expires, my ILR visa would be considered invalid as well and then onwards my stay would be illegal. Ofcourse experts on this forum would know a lot better than me about it.

An expired passport will not invalidate the ILR.
