Travel abroad after applying for UK Citizenship

Hi there,
wondering if anyone can help or has similar experience?
I have been in the UK for 6 years. First 5 on Ancestral, last year on ILR.
In July will apply for citizenship.
My husband and I want to go to his home country in August. We want to spend a few months there with family and with his mom who is ill. We do intend to return to the UK, but not for at least 4-6 months.
Is this ok? Will we have a problem with our citizenship application if we tell them that our temporary address is in another country? We are happy to return to the UK if/when we are invited to a citizenship ceremony. But if I write to them with a change of address while the application is being processed, will we be refused because they won't be convinced we 'intend to remain in the UK'??
thanks for ANY help or thoughts!!!

if i were you i wuld send my application thru NCS cos they tell u not to travel untill after 5days of submission and you get ur travel document back same day, secoundly i wuld talk to a friend about it and call the home office 4 to 5 weeks later to change adress to ur friends adress but u dont need to tell the home office weather its a friends adress or not jus call and change adress and then keep in contact with your friend after wards to knw when he or she recieves your approval, when he/she recieves approval u can ask to open and tell you the ceremony date...i wuldnt give an oversea adress for nationalization application...hope that helps

you dont need to write the home office about a tempra adress trust me that a long process, before you travel write down nationality contact number or you can give your friend your details like refrence number to call and change adress to his adress or click link below u can find the number to call from abroad...

hi there,
thanks for your help, i really appreciate it.
I have contacted an agent, and they said that the home office will send all correspondence to them, so I don't need to worry about my address changing which is good news. Just hope I don't have trouble re-entering the country with ILR after an absence of a few months
thx again!!

i checked the Indian embassy site, it seems that there is a fine if we get naturalisation certificate and travel in Indian passport.
