Hello dear friends.

I applied for nationality end of June. 28th June and money was taken early July. I am spouse + ILR.

Spoke to home office this afternoon and they told me my application is "Pending internal enquiries" does that mean its with the caseworker? Anyone has a clue how long is the further wait from this point?

Alsuwaidi, this just means either
1. That they are still processing your application and need to make more checks and enquires to ascertain few things on your case.
OR
2. That they forgot about your application which went to the bottom of the pile and because you raised a concern, they have now pulled it out and act on it.

I pray that all the people who have been waiting for long time receive their acceptances soon insha'Allah.

Date of receipt of approval: 22-Jul-13 (Dated 11-July-13) [we pay so much money and look at the service that we get..!!]
Date of Ceremony: 24-July-13 [Private ceremony at Barkingside cost £54]

96 days from the date of application to the ceremony.. even the lady conducting our ceremony said that it took a long time as the same lady did our NCS..

Applied for the passport today as well - clearly we are in quite a rush..!!

I have just tried the number provided from NCS. It took me to a recorded message with options to choose if my application has been submitted within 6 months or over six months, when I chosed the first option (which applies to my situation waiting for almost three months), I ended up with another recoded message then call ended. I wonder how did you manage to get to speak to someone ? Thanks

How did you manage to speak to the home office if you just applied less than one month ago?

In letter they said ...pleased to say that application successful. And you will receive a letter inviting you to attend ceremony. And this is not an invitation letter. You should not contact local authority until you have received your invitation. If not received invitation within 2 weeks you should email.

Now my question is who gonna send me invitation letter. Home office or council ? Please advise me. I know one letter will come from council for book appointment with them for ceremony. But another letter will come from home office for invitation ? Please lete know.
