Hi there,

We have got ILR in 2010 but unfortunately didn't apply for Citizenship on time. I am going to apply for that next week but just worried abt the new rule which is going to apply in July 2011. Am I still eligible under previous rules even if rules will be change for Citizenship?

I am going to apply for myself, my wife and my 6 years old daughter so which forms do I have to fill? Form AN and MN1

Regards,

The Home Secretary has outlined the government's approach to reform of the settlement rules, including a decision not to pursue the 'earned citizenship' policy.
Earned citizenship concerned the path to settlement and British citizenship, and was planned to come into force in July 2011. It will now not be introduced.
