Applying from Canada

Hi
I applied for British Citizenship with the UKM form Canada which goes through the BA in Washington DC.
Has anyone been through this experience & can tell me when I should expect my documents returned? After calling the HO, he stated that all documents are returned in one big bundle with the decision letter. Seeing that the application process may take up to six months, I don't see how that can be the case...

Unclear why it should go through "BA in Washington DC".
Applications for nationality (outside the UK, Dependencies and Territories) should be lodged at a British diplomatic post.

Hi JAJ
We were told by the Consulate in Canada that Washington DC now handles all applications from Canada and that we should send the application there.
They have received the application and sent it on to Liverpool.
Thanks,

All applications for Citizenship & UK Passports for people living in Canada, USA & The Carribean are now sent through the BA in Washington DC & sent to the HO in Liverpool (as gaz8080 said above) from there. This system is fairly new... maybe a couple years old.
they've been so kind as to post a video at the link below about the process...
