Parents ILR = Child's (UK Born) Citizenship , timeline

Hi, I am due to apply for my ILR next month. My child, who was born in UK may not need to be on my ILR application as we can apply for her citizenship once we have got the ILR for me.
My question(s) is a) Is that ok ? I think yes.
b) How long would it take for my child's citizenship to happen? Is it a postal application or can we do that in person as well? fees?
c) Can we apply for the citizenship from outside UK as well?

You are correct. Child doesn't need to have ILR.
b) How long would it take for my child's citizenship to happen? Is it a postal application or can we do that in person as well? fees?
timelines today suggest around 2-3 months. You can either use
NCS which will photocopy your documents and forward your application to the HO. There is a fee for the service (£30-50) or apply by post. The fee for the application itself is £540.
c) Can we apply for the citizenship from outside UK as well?
It is expected that the application is done from within the UK. However, you can use NCS and then travel abroad as you keep your travel documents.

I stand corrected. You can apply from outside the UK.
