hello/hi all

I am in a process of filling the FORM AN on the basis Legacy+ ILR(1 year) but a bit not sure what to say in 3.1 to 3.5.The reason is I am not working at the moment and claiming income based JSA.

So I just want to ask What to write in the fields 3.1 to 3.5 and also I am a law abiding person and have no criminal convictions. Is it possible if I leave this sub-section 3.1 to 3.5 and say NO in 3.6 to 3.12...

your comments and suggestions will be much appreciated!!!

(sorry I could not see a sticky topic on this matter before and I have seen too many members asked the same question but in my opinion their answers are not very much helpfull in my case.)

Have you been employed in the past? Then put your tax office details in 3.5. You can just write "currently unemployed" in 3.1. You don't need to be in employment when applying. As for 3.6-3.12 just answer yes or no.

Thanks alot for your reply Jambo!!! and yes i was working but was unfairly dissmissed in the 1st week of october 2011 and for that we all are going to Employment Tribunal, anyway thas another story lolzz.....shall I put all the details from my provious employment i.e job title???because from your answer it is not clear why to put PAYE or tax ref in 3.5 as im on JSA so putting the details about previous employment will create concern with my AN application!

You can if you wish. Just make it clear it is your last but not current employer. The main reason for those details in the good character section is to enable the HO to check with HMRC that you taxes are in order.

an update to the topic..that I rang to the UKBA and they told me just put JSA in 3.1 and thats it!!!
