Hi,
I got my Permanent Residence Card back in April 2011.
Now I was thinking to get British Passport.
I had already passed life in UK test when I applied for Permanent Residence Card. And I have been living in UK since Jan. 2004 on Holiday Working Visa and afterwards from 2006 to till I got my Permanent Residence Card on spouse Visa.
So I was wondering when I would be able to apply for a British Passport.
Any Help/advice will be highly appreciated .

Kind Regards,
Navneet.

'Permanent Residence' refers to applications for settelement under the EEA Regulations however you are referring to having a spouse visa which suggests your application was for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) under the immigration rules. Which is it? What is your spouse's nationality.

You can't apply for a British passport unless you are a British citizen, you need to apply for naturalisation before you can apply for a British passport .

Nothing has changed since you asked the exact same question in July
