I am on ILR issued on dec 2011, i been offered a job in India for a very reputed company, i am planing to be relocated and work for about 8 to 9 months,
i understand for a citizenship i need to be in country for 12 months after ILR.
Therefore i am planing to come back after 9 months.

please advise me if i would be eligible for citizenship after my return and how long do i need to stay before i can apply.

I haven't stayed more than 100 days in my last five years,

Thank you

The requirement is not that you need to be in the UK in the 12 months. One of the requirementsis less than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months before applying although discretion may be applied.

So if you are away for 9 months, you will need to be present in the UK for another 9 months before applying.

Note that for naturalisation all types of absences coun, including work related ones.

If you are not married to a British citizen, then you need to meet the requirements I linked to in my previous post including less than 450 days outside the UK during the 5 years residential period.
