Hi everyone,

I want to apply for BC but I do have some issues here, hope one of you can really give me a good advice.
I have been living in UK since 2001. Got civil partnership in apr 2010.
I am european citizen and I have found out from the AN form that I should require to fill all the dates where I have been out of the country.
Unfortunately I do not hold this information and I don't want to write something that perhaps is not a exact date.
Also since last august I am in my home country due my serious health issues and it states that I should not be out more than 90 days.
My partner is british and now moved to my home country for work with the same company and that's why I spend my time over here otherwise I would be left on my own in UK without any support.
Do you think it shouldn't be a problem in regards of the time I am out due my illness?
What about the dates? as i said I don't want to cause problems and it's impossible for me to trace dates now.
thank you and hope to hear any opinion and advice from you.

How many days have you been absent from the UK in the last 3 years? See here for the rules for discretion.

Do the best you can (try to track down tickets, booking confirmation emails etc).

Hi Jambo,

I have been absent in the last 3 years over 6 months at least. The thing is that I shouldn't be out the country no more than 90 days but I have been in and out over 5 months or so due my illness.

The 90 days requirement is subject to discretion. If you click on the link in my previous post, you can see the rules for discretion which state that the application can be approved in cases where there is a compelling compassionate reason. For full guide on the guidelines for discretion read section 5 here.
