Application for BC

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm not clear about the timescales for BC applications.
I'm a British Citizen and my husband is Jamaican. He came into the UK on 6th March 2009 on a spouse visa and subsequently got his ILR on 8th February 2011.
When can he apply for British Citizenship? Would it be February 2012 or March 2012?
