Citizenship - Earnings, tax requirements?

Apologies if this question has been asked before but are there any earnings, financial, or tax requirements when applying for citizenship?

For instance, if I'm not a homeowner, switch from full time employment to self-employed to run my own company, pay a different tax rate to the one in full time employment, would that impact my chances of getting approved?

Would appreciate your comments.

I strongly suggest that you download the form AN, and Guide AN and Notes AN.

If you do that you will realise that you are in great danger of inventing requirement that do not exist.

For a start, there is no specific requirement that the applicant for Naturalisation has ever worked in the UK. For example they might have been a housewife (or Househusband) since arriving in the UK.

You are required to have paid what you are supposed to have paid. If you are a housewife then you wont have had a responsibility to pay anything.

Slight differences exist if you are apply as an EEA national or family member of (from my knowledge) but this doesnt apply by the sounds of it
